In this free live community event, we’ll explore Aradia — Queen of the Witches — a powerful folk figure rooted in Italian witchcraft traditions and spiritual resistance.

Aradia — Queen of the Witches
Aradia is remembered as the Queen of the Witches and a symbol of liberation, folk wisdom, and spiritual rebellion. Emerging from Italian folklore and recorded in Charles Leland’s Aradia, or the Gospel of the Witches (1899), she is described as a teacher sent to the people during a time when land, wealth, and autonomy were being stripped away.
She didn’t rule from above. She walked among the oppressed. She taught magick as survival, knowledge as power, and Spirit as liberation.
For many modern practitioners, Aradia carries the energy of the modern witch — rooted in community rather than hierarchy, sovereignty rather than obedience, and embodied power rather than illusion.
To work with Aradia is to remember this:
Magick belongs to the people. Power lives in the body. Spirit moves through community.
